Day 1 – 25 Dec – Thu – Sao Paulo/Johannesburg

Check-in at Guarulhos International Airport and boarding procedures for flight SA 223 departing at 5:45 p.m. to Johannesburg. Overnight stay on board.

Day 2 – 26 Dec – Fri – Johannesburg

Arrival at 7:45 am, reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The apartments will be available. Rest of the morning free to rest from the trip. In the afternoon, departure for a visit to Johannesburg, the largest and most populous city in the country, where we will have the opportunity to visit Soweto. Accommodation.

Day 3 – 27 Dec – Sat – Johannesburg

Breakfast. Departure for a half-day visit to the impressive Apartheid Museum. Return to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 – 28 Dec – Sun – Johannesburg – Kruger Park Private Game Reserve

Breakfast. Departure through the province of Mpumalanga, visiting places of impressive beauty such as the Blyde River Canyon and God's Window (visits subject to availability and weather conditions). Lunch en route (included). Arrival at the lodge in the Kruger National Park region in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 – 29 Dec – Mon – Kruger Park Private Game Reserve

Full board. Guided photo safari at dawn in open 4×4 vehicles. Return to the hotel where breakfast will be served. After breakfast, free time to enjoy the hotel facilities. At the end of the day, departure for another guided photo safari. Return for dinner.

Day 6 – 30 Dec – Tue – Kruger Park Private Reserve –

Johannesburg – Cape Town Photo Safari with an English-speaking ranger at dawn in open-top 4×4 vehicles. Return to the hotel where breakfast will be served. Afterwards, departure by bus to Johannesburg airport. Picnic lunch en route (included).
Arrival and boarding procedures for flight SA 369 departing at 21:05 to Cape Town. Arrival at 23:20, reception by our representative and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7 – 31 Dec – Wed – Cape Town

Breakfast. Departure for a full day tour with lunch included, where you will have a complete view of the
Greater Cape Town, with the option to take the cable car up to Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city and bay (cable car included – weather permitting).

Visit the vibrant popular market, known as “Greenmarket Square” with numerous souvenir stalls. Visit the “Company Gardens” with its 160-year-old trees in the city center. The gardens are surrounded by the former “Slave Lodge”, the Parliament and St. Georges Cathedral, with its interesting history. Afterwards, visit the Castle of Good Hope. Continue through the beautiful old city center, with its historic buildings; then visit the Malay neighborhood, Bo Kaap, with its colorful houses and picturesque mosques. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 8 – 01 Jan – Thu – Cape Town

Breakfast. Today we will take a tour along the Cape Peninsula with lunch included. A spectacular route where you can see the landscape, vegetation and wildlife. The first stop is at “Hout Bay” or Timber Bay where you can choose to board a boat for a trip to an island inhabited by a colony of Cape fur seals. After that we will head to Chapman's Peak (weather permitting) to visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where you will have the opportunity to take the cable car (entrance not included) and climb up to the old lighthouse to enjoy the view of the famous “False Bay”.

We then continue our journey to Simon's Town, home of the South African Navy, with a visit to a famous colony of African penguins, a species that is in serious danger of extinction. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 9 – 02 Jan – Fri – Cape Town

Breakfast. Free day. We suggest an optional full-day tour of the Cape Winelands with lunch included. On this tour you will visit the city of Stellenbosch, the second oldest city in the Cape, where the South African grape variety “Pinotage” was created. Then you will visit Franchhoek, a French colony where the first “Huguenots” who migrated settled. During this tour you will have two wine tasting sessions.
At the end of the day return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 10 – 03 Jan – Sat – Cape Town – Sao Paulo

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to board flight SA 226 departing at 12:40 p.m. to São Paulo. Arrival at Guarulhos International Airport at 4:35 p.m.
